This Privacy Policy explains how Vala Marketing LLC ("Vala Marketing", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit www.valamarketing.com (the "Site") or contact us through it.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company name, the subject you select and your message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers collect information about your visit, including the pages you view, how long you stay on each page, the website or ad that referred you, your device and browser type, and your approximate location (city or country).

3. How we use your information

We use this information to:

respond to your inquiry and discuss working with you;
understand how visitors use the Site and which pages and ad campaigns lead to inquiries;
show our ads to people who may be interested in our services, which may include people who have visited the Site before;
protect our contact form from spam.

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on your consent for analytics and advertising cookies, and on our legitimate interests to respond to your messages and to protect our contact form from spam.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, a cookie banner provided by CookieYes asks for your choice when you visit the Site. We set analytics and advertising cookies only after you accept them. Until you do, Google receives basic information without cookies: the page address (which can include details of an ad you clicked to reach the Site), the time, your browser type, the referring page, whether you arrived from an ad, your cookie choice, a random number that changes on each page, and an identifier for our cookie tool. Meta and LinkedIn receive no information from the Site until you accept, either from your browser or through a server connection. Videos on the Site are provided by YouTube. When you press play on a video, YouTube may set its own cookies, whether or not you have accepted cookies on the Site.

If you are anywhere else, including the United States, analytics and advertising cookies are used when you visit the Site, and we share Site data with Google, Meta and LinkedIn for advertising. 5. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it with the service providers below.

Webflow hosts the Site and stores contact form messages.

CookieYes provides our cookie banner and keeps a record of your consent choice.

Google. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to measure visits to the Site, and Google Ads to show our ads and measure their results, which may include showing ads to people who have visited the Site. If you are signed in to a Google account and have turned on ads personalization, Google signals may connect your visits across your devices; we receive only aggregated reports. When you submit our contact form, the Google tag on the page converts the email address you entered into a hashed (one-way encoded) value and sends that value to Google, which uses it to measure our ads more accurately. The email address itself is not sent. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, this happens only if you have accepted advertising cookies. Google reCAPTCHA protects our contact form from spam. Video preview images on the Site load from YouTube when a page opens, and the YouTube video player loads when you press play. Meta (Facebook and Instagram). We use Meta's tools to measure the results of our ads, and we may show our ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited the Site. Meta receives information about page visits and contact form submissions from your browser and, as a copy of the same events, through a server-to-server connection. LinkedIn. We use LinkedIn's tools to measure the results of our ads, including contact form submissions, and we may show our ads on LinkedIn to people who have visited the Site. LinkedIn's privacy policy is at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.

6. International transfers

Webflow, Google, Meta and LinkedIn may process personal information in the United States, and Webflow stores our contact form messages there. Google, Meta and LinkedIn participate in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Google and LinkedIn also participate in the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and use standard contractual clauses where required. Webflow participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. CookieYes is based in the United Kingdom and uses standard contractual clauses for transfers of personal information outside the UK and the EEA.

7. How long we keep information

We keep contact form messages for as long as we are in contact or working with you, and for one year after that. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months and then deleted by Google.

8. Your rights

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to receive a copy of it. You can withdraw your consent to cookies at any time through "Cookie settings". To make a request, email help@valamarketing.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

If you are anywhere else, including the United States, you can ask what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing help@valamarketing.com. You can opt out of advertising as described in section 4.
