We partnered with Cuddle Core and QuasiReal Publishing to launch Bria’s Mythical Menagerie, a collection of playable TTRPG plushies designed for Dungeons & Dragons 5E. This campaign combined collectible, huggable creatures with an expansive game-ready tome, bringing a fresh twist to the world of tabletop RPGs.
It was important for the Bria’s Mythical Menagerie campaign to keep fans excited and involved from launch to funding, and Vala Marketing created a strategy to deliver that through social media management across multiple profiles and accounts as well as a dedicated Discord server. This direct interaction between backers and creators thrived through sharing sneak peeks and building a sense of community around the plush familiars. We leveraged eye-catching visuals, interactive content, and peeks behind-the-scenes to drive engagement and expand the campaign’s reach.
The campaign blended adorable plush design with immersive fantasy branding, creating a visually cohesive experience. Every element, from the Kickstarter page layout to the promotional graphics and pins was carefully crafted to reflect the cute and game-ready nature of the plush familiars. The branding focused on utilizing rich colors, playful typography, and high-quality artwork to make the campaign instantly recognizable.
Creating the Bria’s Mythical Menagerie Kickstarter page required a balance of engaging storytelling, clear navigation, and strategic optimization. It was essential that any given potential backer knew exactly what this campaign was about at a glance. Every section was designed to capture attention quickly, using beautiful visuals, easy to digest copy, and clear reward breakdowns. The page layout was structured for easy readability, with a mix of high-quality product images, explainer graphics, and stretch goal highlights to showcase the plush familiars and their in-game functionality.
2,040 backers pledged $214,868 – blowing away the original goal of $10,500. 8 stretch goals were unlocked, and the campaign was selected as a “Project We Love” by Kickstarter.
